Come hear the beautiful singing of the
Cornell University Chorus
CCNEO is pleased to welcome 50 women of the Cornell University Chorus to Akron on April 5 during their nine day tour of the Midwest.
With Cornell songs and a repertoire that spans eight centuries and multiple languages, the Chorus is also dedicated to expanding the contemporary repertoire for women’s choirs through their “No Whining, No Flowers” commissioning project. Currently under the direction of Robert Isaacs, the Chorus has gained a reputation as one of the nation’s most outstanding women’s choirs. More information about the Chorus can be found here.

Help with overnight accommodations for Chorus members:
The Chorus relies on the generosity of alumni and friends to accommodate the chorus women overnight after concerts. We will be looking for hosts from the Akron and Cleveland area. Hosts are responsible for picking up at least 2 Chorus women from the concert, giving them a place to sleep, a hearty breakfast in the morning, and then taking them to a pre-determined central drop off location. If you are able and willing to host, please click here or email the firstname.lastname@example.org .
Join us for dinner before the show
