In the first of an educational series for 2017, please join CCNEO on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at MAGNET (Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network) to learn about manufacturing and the role it will play in the future of work in Northeast Ohio.
MAGNET’s Linda Barita, Director of Strategic Alliances, will lead a discussion to be joined by Donna Rhodes, Senior Growth Advisor for Workforce Talent & Development, Mike O’Donnell, VP of Operations, and Dave Pierson – Lead Engineer and head of Additive and 3D printing. After the discussion you will have an opportunity to take a tour of the Innovation Center!

Tour a potato chip factory! Need we say more? Shearer’s Millennium Plant in Massillon, OH is the first Platinum LEED certified snack food plant in the world! Continuous Improvement Manager Lauren Lavo will provide a guided tour with plenty of time to “quality test” along the way.
Calling all runners, joggers, and walkers! If you can’t make it to Ithaca for Homecoming, join our very own “Virtual 5k” in town. Promoted by Cornell, alumni around the world are asked to participate in their own runs and share their photos with Cornell. Untimed and just for fun, bring the whole family!
Join HumEc ‘60 graduate Marge Wilson for a private tour of Lake View cemetery. Marge is a Lake View guide, local historian, and member of the Civil War Roundtable and will spend a few hours with us sharing the fascinating story of Lake View its patrons. Those interested can join for lunch in Little Italy afterwards.
Our final summertime gathering. One last hurrah before students return to the hill!

It's time for the annual Summer Send-Off. An event for all area Cornellians to celebrate another great summer in the Championship city of Cleveland.
Enjoy a relaxing Sunday bbq with area alumni, connect a final time with our Summer on the Cuyahoga interns, and meet the newest Cornellians in the class of 2020. Most of all, send best wishes to students returning to Ithaca for the semester.
All alumni, students, and parents of students are encouraged to attend.

Cornellians, we're invited! Meet UChicago Summer on the Cuyahoga Metcalf Interns and mingle with other alumni, parents, and friends at one of Cleveland's finest beaches, the private Clifton Beach and Beach House.
Bring your swimwear if desired; or join us for the food and camaraderie. The Clifton Club offers one of the best sunset views in the area.

CCNEO Summer Canoe Outing
Enjoy a float down the scenic upper Cuyahoga with CCNEO students and alumni.
Join the Cornell Club of Northeast Ohio and the Summer on the Cuyahoga Interns for a canoe tour of the Upper Cuyahoga River! It's sure to be an adventure on the river plus a chance to meet new Cornell alums!
Bring comfortable clothing - you can bring your swimsuit; bug spray and sunscreen.
Pot luck afterwards - please bring a side or dessert. We'll bring the barbecue (burgers and hot dogs), beverages and chips.

CCNEO Progressive Dinner 2016
One of the most popular events of the summer!
Step out for a night on the town with Cornell students and alumni.
Summer is heating up, and this is your chance to tour some of the hottest spots with local Cornellians. We'll meet up at Constantino's downtown before departing for a walking tour of new and lively spots downtown and on the East Bank.
Appetizers and soft drinks provided at each venue, with drink purchases and specials available for all in attendance.
